Welcome to Matrix Investigative Agency ("Matrix PI," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing this website, submitting information through our website, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using this website or requesting investigative services from Matrix PI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of this website and our services.
SERVICES PROVIDED
Matrix PI provides private investigative services including, but not limited to:
• Surveillance Investigations
• Background Investigations
• Child Custody and Child Support Investigations
• Missing Person Investigations
• Insurance Fraud Investigations
• Asset and Information Research
• Other lawful investigative services
All services are performed in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS
Investigative work involves gathering information from available sources and field activities. Matrix PI makes no guarantee regarding:
• Specific findings
• Investigation outcomes
• Court results
• Legal decisions
• Recovery of assets
• Location of individuals
Past performance does not guarantee future results.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Clients agree that:
• All information submitted is truthful and accurate.
• They have a lawful purpose for requesting investigative services.
• They will not use information obtained through Matrix PI for unlawful, discriminatory, harassing, or improper purposes.
• They will cooperate with reasonable requests for additional information necessary to complete an investigation.
Providing false or misleading information may result in termination of services without refund.
FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT (FCRA)
Matrix PI is not a Consumer Reporting Agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
Information provided by Matrix PI may not be used for:
• Employment decisions
• Tenant screening
• Credit eligibility
• Insurance underwriting
• Any purpose governed by the FCRA
Clients agree not to use any information obtained through Matrix PI for FCRA-regulated purposes.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Matrix PI maintains strict confidentiality regarding client communications and investigative activities to the extent permitted by law.
However, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed when:
• Disclosure is required by court order.
• Disclosure is required by law.
• Information becomes public through legal proceedings.
• The client authorizes disclosure.
INVESTIGATIVE LIMITATIONS
Information obtained during investigations may originate from public records, proprietary databases, witness interviews, surveillance activities, or other lawful sources.
Matrix PI does not warrant that all information obtained will be:
• Complete
• Current
• Error-free
• Admissible in court
Clients are responsible for consulting legal counsel regarding the use of investigative findings.
FEES AND PAYMENT
Investigation fees are determined by the scope of work requested.
Unless otherwise agreed:
• Fees are due before services commence.
• Retainers are non-refundable once investigative work begins.
• Additional fees may apply if the investigation expands beyond the original scope.
• Expenses including travel, court appearances, database fees, lodging, mileage, and specialized equipment may be billed separately.
Outstanding balances may result in suspension of services.
EVIDENCE AND REPORTS
Reports, photographs, video recordings, written findings, and other investigative materials remain the intellectual property of Matrix PI until all fees are paid in full.
Upon full payment, clients receive a limited license to use materials for lawful purposes related to their case.
Materials may not be resold, published, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.
WEBSITE USE
Users agree not to:
• Submit false information.
• Attempt unauthorized access to website systems.
• Interfere with website operations.
• Upload malicious software.
• Use website content without authorization.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
TEXT MESSAGING USE
1. The messaging program consists of general conversational messaging to answer questions and provide support to customers.
2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text 'STOP' to the phone number from which you received messages. After you send the SMS message 'STOP' to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at

4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency will vary based on communication needs. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

• Decisions made by clients based on investigative findings
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
INDEMNIFICATION
Clients agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Matrix PI, its investigators, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
• Misuse of investigative information
• Violation of these Terms
• Illegal or improper conduct by the client
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All website content including text, graphics, logos, images, reports, and design elements are owned by Matrix PI and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Texas.
MODIFICATIONS
Matrix PI reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this website with a revised effective date.
